I'm currently also working on improving the icons[1]. My good friend Lasse Sætre proposed to use another metaphor. Instead of an alarm clock he proposed using a bell instead[2]. Although I like the icon better than the old one, I feel that the icon still should resemble some sort of alarm clock. The name of the application is 'Alarm Clock' after all.
