The only thing that is needed for dumping mplayer is this feature. External
audio tracks is a must option for any video player nowadays. But it can be
extended to a degree that none of existing players can do.

1) grab audio source from the file with same name as video, let it work through
simlinks too (none of linux players can do that). Let it add all audio tracks
with the exact same name or by mask so that would add to the audio.mkv sounds:
audio.mp3, audio2.mp3 and audio3.flac
2) extended manual approach. For example you have a show, you can make playlist
and by clicking "external audio track" menu choose from what directory it will
automaticly grab the sound for this playlist, but it won't use mask feature for
obvious reasons. (there is no such thing in any player at all)

Also now there is no way to filter playlist, so they are adding as they are.
Such feature should exist too.
