--- Comment #94 from Tomasz "CeDeROM" CEDRO <[email protected]> --- Okay so vbox with win7 did not work - device shows up but does not start even though drivers are installed. So i tried with lubuntu 24.04 usb-bootable system. It has libqmi by standard. Upgraded firmware from SWI9X15C_05.05.26.00 r21289 carmd-fwbuild1 2014/04/02 18:24:16 (CarrierID: 01) to latest: 1. SWI9X15C_05.05.58.00 r27038 carmd-fwbuild1 2015/03/04 18:38:46 (CarrierID: 204) that is dedicated to Orange that I use. This one did not even connect to operator. 2. SWI9X15C_05.05.78.00 r34310 CARMD-EV-FRMWR3 2017/09/17 00:43:17 (CarrierID: 01) that is Generic image. Tried to connect to Orange right after update on lubuntu and it did work. But on FreeBSD it looks like connection is made but no packets come in/out :-( umb0: state up, mode automatic, registration home network provider "Orange", dataclass GPRS, signal #99 phone number "", roaming "" (denied) APN "internet", TX 50000000, RX 100000000 firmware "SWI9X15C_05.05.78.00", hardware "EM7305" umb0: flags=1008851<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST,LOWER_UP> metric 0 mtu 1430 options=0 inet 10.77.17.230 --> 10.77.17.229 netmask 0xfffffffc media: <unknown type> status: nd6 options=29<PERFORMNUD,IFDISABLED,AUTO_LINKLOCAL> Also looks like it would be good to have this libqmi-utils ported to play with firmware upgrades on FreeBSD :-) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
