Thanks, all, for your comments. It would sure be nice if there was some equivalent to shockwave, back in the days. Of course, downloadable plug-ins like shockwave and flash apparently have too many security issues and are not allowed anymore.
HTML5 eventually? I assume HTML5 apps would run in a browser.
