on* mouseUp *put* the clipboarddata["html"] into tHTML *put* the number of chars in tHTML & linefeed & tHTML into field "feedback" * end* mouseUp The output of this script is the following: 7 <p></p> "<p></p>" contains 7 characters, which is what the output counted. If there were hidden characters that did not show up in the field, then the character count should have been higher. I think MS Word does something funny with copying - very annoying.
