I think you do use MIDI but no samples (you can use QuickTime to play samples, but not very creative... I am old school...) For my digital instruments made with LiveCode I use the external "sunnYmidi" by Thierry Douez : http://sunny-tdz.com/ see > http://sunny-tdz.com/art-1000 but Macintosh OS X for now... are you ?
