Hi all, Recently, I was testing the efficiency of different bitmap image optimization methods and found these webpages that optimize PNG files:
http://www.8bitalpha.com/ http://tinypng.org/ http://compresspng.com/ 24 bit Transparent PNG files reduced to 8 bit look better and are much more smaller. Could you test if this is true in your own computer? How many of you optimize all images used in your own stacks and applications? You could use this image: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/bc/Gluecksklee_(transparent_background).png Thanks in advance! Al P.D.
