The only way I know to do so is via a QuickTime Player object. This works somewhat well on a Mac and not at all on Windows when it comes to going through all the pages and capturing the image data.

This seems like such an old topic but I've yet to find a good solution.
Quicktime works in a limited way and it's also a Mac only solution.
Regarding cross platform solutions I believe Imagick requires GhostScript
which could present both licensing issues as well as a complicated
installer procedure. It would be great to see something in the Livecode
store which simply accepts a shell command supplying a path to a PDF, a
path to a folder and a quality of say 1 to 10- or something.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
