Hi,

I have quite a few apps, built with Revolution 2.x, 3.x, and 4.x and LiveCode 4.x, 5.x and 6.x and they all seem to work. Once in a while, there is a version that won't run at all, but most versions of RR and LC work on every major Windows version, including Win XP, Win Vista, 7, 8 and 8.1.

I built a standalone with the old Rev 2.9 that works fine on Windows 8.
I'm not 100% sure if it works on 8.1, but I think so (I think one of my
sons has 8.1)
Hope that helps!

Do Livecode standalones work on Winodws 8 and 8.1?

And, if so, can you tell me what is the earliest version of Livecode that
produces standalones that work on these systems?

Richmond.
