Hi folks, Did this discussion ever get resolved? If you need to refer to properties of a button that holds a behavior script, is there any way to override the meaning of 'me'? Normally 'me' in a behavior script refers to the object that is executing the behavior script.
We had a long discussion a few months back about referring to parent behaviors, and one of the tongue-in-cheek(?) suggestions was 'the effective me'. But how could one refer to the button holding the behavior script? 'the real me'? Struggling with who I really am, Devin, just me Devin Asay Office of Digital Humanities Brigham Young University _______________________________________________ use-livecode mailing list use-livecode@lists.runrev.com Please visit this url to subscribe, unsubscribe and manage your subscription preferences: http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-livecode
