In the early days of multimedia it helped if you were Bill, Dan, or Bob. You gave some examples for Bill and Dan (and there’s Dan Winkler). On the Bob side there was Bob Stein and Bob Abel. I met those two for the first time together, and to save confusion we called Bob Stein ‘Bob’ and Bob Abel ‘Robert’.
