Hi.
It seems there is a character limit. I made a gadget to fill a combo box
(btn 1):
on mouseUp
repeat with y = 1 to 30000
put y into line y of temp
end repeat
put temp into btn 1
answer the length of btn 1 && the number of lines of btn 1
end mouseUp
The button filled to a length of 37821 and stopped, with 7786 lines.
