Not sure that's going to work ... if the mouse button is being held down, you won't get a "mouseenter" event. Dict says:

If the mouse button is down when the mouse pointer enters the control,

the *mouseEnter* message is not sent unless the mouse button is released

while the pointer is still in the control.

So you will probably need to use  mousedown and mousestilldown to track that case.
