When placing groups, you need to refer to them as backgrounds. The distinction is this:
A group is contained in card, a background is contained in a stack. They are the same object, though. So this is fine, and refers to the same object:
group "myGroup" of this card
background "myGroup" of this stack
so you need this:
place background "theOnlyMenu" onto this card

I've disengaged it from being a subgroup of a larger group and placed it on
one card. But when I go to place it on the other cards, it doesn't show up
in the Place Menu, and when I type "Place group theOnlyMenu" into the
message box I get an error. What am I missing? I can copy and paste it,
however.
