Just a quick note that 5582 just came out for Parallels and it is
the official release (not beta) for Leopard. Maybe that would help

Thanks for pointing that out. I gave the release build of Parallels
a try and found that the problem still exists. I think I will
convert over to VMware as everything works as it should there.
