I havent done a side-by-side comparison of FF on Mac/Windows or Safari on Mac/Windows for rendering irregularities, but I havent seen much that Safari can do that Firefox cant, and FF also has a Linux version. Firefox also has just oodles of useful add ons and its got a huge user base. What advantages
are there to using Safari that I cant get in Firefox?

Guaranteed Apple/Mac compatibility in all things, and no extra effort including automatic upgrades.
