Works fine here: Mac OS X 10.5.2, Rev 2.9.0-dp-3, Apple Mail 3.2. Sorry, I don't have Thunderbird installed to test. However you have quoted "tEmail" where it looks more like a variable name. You are actually going to get the text tEmail in the To field of your email, not whatever is in the tEmail variable.
