I foolishly took this sentence from the tutorial's PDF literally: "The database itself is located on the Runtime Revolution web server."

Do you have a database server setup anywhere that you can try to access? If not, it is very easy to install MySQL on your own Mac <http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/5.0.html>. Download the MySQL admin tools as well <http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui- tools/5.0.html>, so that you can create a database and setup the user privileges.


I have taken your advice, installed MYSQL locally and begun to enjoy trying Rev's database powers!
