Are you sure that they were Shockwave files (usually .dcr), not
regular Flash files ( usually .swf)?
As far as I know there's no way short of Crossover/Wine etc. to view
actual Shockwave files on Linux.

installed the first (as am only interested in playing a few EFL
content shockwave files on
the Disk-drives of my PCs) and it worked PERFECTLY.
