Well, just to answer my own question:
The latest version of stackRunner available from Sons O' Thunder cannot
run revMedia 4a stacks
HOWEVER:
the Revolution Player 3 available at:
http://www.runrev.com/downloads/all-downloads/revolution-player/
can run revMedia 4a stacks.
