Hi Sarah,

Looks like it will save the entry to a file only if the form action is the iRev code. But I think I've found a fix, and that is to include target="_self" or some other frame in the form tag. I'm going to play around with it and try to incorporate some of the neat code from your web site. Thank you for taking the time and the kind offer to look at the file in detail. I'm hoping I won't have to trouble you with that.

Regards,

        Gregory

Thank you for the kind offer.

Does the form work in the end i.e. does the new entry get added to
your guest book text file?
If so, then the only problem is that things are happening in the wrong order.

You ned to check for POST data, and if it's there, save it to the text file.
Then you need another section of irev code that reads the text file
and displays it.
If these are done in the opposite order, then you won't see the changes.

Cheers,
Sarah

P.S. If you like to send me your file off-list, I'd be happy to take a
look at it and see if I could suggest a fix.
