revGoURL and https://

If I use the revGoURL command to launch the user's default web-browser to  an 
http:// address, the command works fine, however, if I try to launch an  
https:// address, the browser never launches.  This is on Mac OS X  10.3.
Does this happen for anyone else?  Anyone know if there's a  workaround?
