is it possible to 'hack' the Revolution Documentation stacks?

I don't see why not: I have hacked operational Revolution stacks (eg: revmenubar.rev and revdbquerysetup.rev).
Just duplicate the Revolution stack and rename it so it doesn't start with "rev".
