But then, on the other hand, this should not happen in a list field:
1 2 3 ..empty line
Click line 4 (!) and "the hilitedlines of fld 1" returns 4, but "the num of lines of fld 1" returns 3 ???
And delete line 4 of fld 1; put the num of lines of fld 1 still returns 3 ???
Isn't this a bit incosistent?
