For those Revolution developers trying to get the Mac OS X speech synthesizers to do what Apple's documentation says they are *supposed* to do via embedded commands:

"...There are the [[rate]], [[pbas]], and [[pmod]] embedded commands, but the latter two are disabled in 10.2 and 10.3 and the former may not work under all circumstances. (This is due to improve in 10.4)...."
