I've a stack called Screen Gamma at: http://www.altuit.com/webs/altuit2/runrev/tutorials.htm
It's a collection of some studies I did awhile ago on this very subject.
Great work on that gamma stack, Chipp.
Oddly enough though, I keep my Mac at PC gamma (2.2) but the engine reports my screengamma as "1.7" -- any clue as to why the engine would differ from what my OS X Display settings tell me?
And for those of us who might see the gamma difference as yet another substantiation for the old light bulb joke*, why is the Mac gamma different from all other OSes?
* Q: How many Apple employees does it take to change a lightbulb?
A: Three: one engineer to build a better but slightly
non-standard light bulb, a second engineer to build a
better but slightly non-standard socket for it, and
a marketing exec to kill the program when it fails to
meet sales projections.-- Richard Gaskin Fourth World Media Corporation __________________________________________________ Rev tools and more: http://www.fourthworld.com/rev _______________________________________________ use-revolution mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.runrev.com/mailman/listinfo/use-revolution
