i don't happen to be a "creationist" or "intelligent design" advocate, but about half of the people in this country are. i am certain that some people on the list are as well.
religion and politics are two areas where we should agree to disagree and leave it at that. this list is a community of sorts. with so many interests in common, polarization and marginalization detract from the common goal(s).

Actually they were a snippet from a humor article I submitted to the New Yorker last year. They didn't think it was funny either.
