this could be a selectionchanged handler intercepting it... try to run this handler with "lock messages" before you run it...
if it still kills the (it's NOT a thread) execution, it's probably an error in myline... If it runs, there's a frontscript (maybe) event handler catching your change of selection (but im doudtfull)...
