Try having the customer open the movie in QuickTime and see how that goes. Perhaps it will give a more detailed error message.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the customer reports being able to play the file just fine in Apple's QuickTime player.

It's only both of our Rev-based apps he can't play it in, yet none of us can reproduce that here.
