I wonder whether April 1has the same meaning elsewhere as it does here. Perhaps we need to point out that April 1 = April Fools Day = a day notorious for pranks similar to the one perpetuated by this issue of TidBITS--all of which is presumably an April Fool's joke and, thus, entirely untrue. (As if anyone really thought they would be doing a Take Control of Your Daily Life book ;-)
