Ken- I'm with Trevor (and some other folks, too, I guess). If you disabled a control and it *still* swallowed mouseclicks then that wouldn't exactly be disabled, no? It makes perfect sense to me that if you click on a disabled control then the mouseclick gets passed down the chain to the next visible and enabled object (card or button or whoever catches it first).
