This is so cool! Has this been shared on the list before? If so, I have missed something major.

Does anyone know if this will work with multi-line shell scripts?

For the dialog use AppleScript:
do shell script "command" with administrator privileges

To pass other items use:
do shell script "command" user name "me" password "mypassword" with administrator privileges
