I ran a check on some links I had to do with converting to PDF:

http://jasperforge.org/sf/projects/jasperreports
http://www.pdflib.com/products/platforms/ Not cheap!
I've used iText from a Java app, pulling it in through Terminal app.

I recommend sticking to Quartam library, you can ask him if you
