Yes, good questions all! It would be really nice to have some communication, if only of the form, its difficult, and we are thinking what to do about Linux.
You don't have to have a Linux version. It would be quite understandable not to. It doesn't have to be exactly in step either. But if you are going to have one at all, you do have to let people know something about where you are going, even if where you are going is, puzzled and uncertain.
