I'm looking for a way to positively ID a Windows machine apart from the MAC address.
On Athlon and newer Pentium CPUs, is there a CPU serial number that can be retrieved by software?
If not, is there a Windows OS serial number? If any of the above exist, is there a shell() command that would give it to me?
