I'am a mac user and test an app on windows (with the computer of a
friend)
I use this script on a French system
set usesystemdate to true
put the long date into toDayName
set usesystemdate to false
put word 1 of toDayName into toDayName
today, I get
on mac "Vendredi" (= Friday)
on Windows Xp "Samedi" (= Saturday)
????
Can anyone explain what happens ?
