Assuming that you want the
file to open in its standard application (BBEdit text files in
BBEdit, Word text files in Word) then the answer is this:
send tFilePath to application "Finder" with "aevtodoc"
That command opens the file in its default application, regardless
of whether that application is running or not. It's pretty much
exactly what happens if you double-click the file in the Finder.
