Gary,

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by

> >>>>Next I went to the Revolution web site and downloaded Revolution1 and

but I am assuming that you mean you downloaded the Starter Kit. If
so, all I can tell you (as a relatively new Rev user) is that I've
never encountered any errors like the one you describe. I develop
mainly on the Mac but have used the Starter Kit briefly on the PC at
work (which is generally guaranteed to hose almost any application
because of all the firewalls and "common operating environment") and
at home. Both are running Win98 and I've had no problems.

In fact, I REALLY like being able to open a stack created on the Mac
and tweak it on the PC when buttons don't quite line up properly
etc.--was able to fine tune a 100+ card stack in less than half an
hour!

BTW, I've not tried any of the betas yet---so that gives us at least
two differences between my systems and yours: Win98 and no betas
installed. Anyone have any other ideas?

Marian
