You 'hit the nail'...

as a senior developer in a small company, I usually buy one (the 
first one) licence of a new Software from my own wallet. I bought the 
pro-version of RealBasic, the same with FaceSpan, Scripter etc. When 
an update is 'calling' and the costs are about a 'RealBasic - update' 
- no one asks about

But with Rev. (there are dozens of things I love in rev.) things are 
different. I'm afraid that the free version isn't the right thing for 
building app's -not just for own purpose. And the pricing is to high.

although I can understand the reasonings from Rev (basically, I 
agree) - but for me, the licence-fees are too high :-(

I'm building small app's -maybe used one time- using FaceSpan or RB 
as long as there is a customer involved - and I'm 'playing around' 
with Rev :-)
