I don't know. I know that I've seen the cursor go missing in Rev when Word _wasn't_
running. I saw the cursor go missing in Eudora earlier today when Word _was_ running
(and Revolution wasn't). I've several times seen strange behavior when Word was
running. Generally, quitting Word makes the problem stop. Obviously this doesn't prove
Word is responsible for those problems, but it's a pretty strong correlation since I
don't often run Word.
What I take from this is the following:
1. The problem is not unique to Revolution.
2. The problem might not be related to Revolution directly; rather, it might be a
sensitivity to something else going on inside my Mac. Revolution is known for its
ability to discover system issues -- weak memory management on the Mac, nasty video
card drivers on the PC, etc. -- maybe this is a similar situation.
