It sounds like you have a great idea here!
Specifically, though, here is one suggestion. Write out your code with the
handlers commented out. Then cut and paste a segment into a custom property
of the object. Then replace the cut segment with a line like:
do the cpcode1 of me
It is a nice way to extend your effective working code base.
