Not sure how you'd still be using 9.1.1 if you have OS X, but it may
mean that you don't have 10.1, which ships with 9.2.1. If you don't
have 10.1, you'll want to upgrade to that as your first step. We're
not developing or testing on 10.0.X anymore and so you're on your own
if you stick with that (normally we don't support only the bleeding
edge version of an OS, but because OS X 10.1 is such a major
improvement and because it was a free upgrade, there's no reason *not*
to be using it).
As for stability problems, the only things we know about with OS X are
QT related. So if you're doing a lot of QT stuff, I'd recommend
sticking with MacOS. Otherwise, you should be fine using OS X, though
of course it won't be quite as fast or quite as interoperable with any
older applications you're still using.
