Thank you Scott and Jeanne. I will try what you suggest as at first glance it looks exactly what I wish to do. I don't know anything about "grouping" in Revolution yet, at least, to allow this type of function. I thought "group" was going to be a simple "lumping of objects together in lockstep" so that they could be moved about the "card landscape" as a group. So, back to the "dictionary" to learn.
Although I have been consulting your documentation extensively I have been getting along extremely well with the scripting I remember from SuperCard and Hypercard. This shows very well for Revolution as a piece of software easy to cross-grade to with a learning curve into the idiosyncratic advanced feature portions. Very good strong point. Thanks again.
