Thanks Arjo,

That's what I needed to know. I'm not certain that I will need to get up to
speed with VRML at this stage. I think anim walk/fly throughs will probably be
all that will be required or maybe with viewing option links through HTML.

  Hi Neil,

I'm not sure if I've got the SP3 as provided on the Update Section. About two
days before the release of SP3 I got a new beta fixing a severe VRML bug. But
that update had the same version number.
I've no problems with VRML or Realsoft at this moment, with the .dll
installed. But maybe that's because I've got a registered VRML plugin. Maybe
the bug only shows up with the uregistered dll. I guess Vesa or Juha will know
the answer.

If you want to use Realsoft to create VRML you'll need the registered plugin.

  Arjo.

  Subject: VRML and Dimensioning

    Hi List,

The VRML plugin is dodgy and causes a windows error message on closing RS
and so the .dll file is therefore removed. First question - Is the plugin
necessary for VRML work?

I will go back over the work that Arjo did a while back but a short answer
would be useful.

Second question concerns giving dimensions to a plan or elevation in ortho
view of RS objects in a project .... is there a short cut to this?

Even if only vertical or horizontal dimensions could be drawn in with a
snap/click or something I would like to know.

    Thanks
