I think that people (that are not doing 3D for the money "
professionally " ) don't need to care if Realsoft import/export or
plugins. Realsoft 1.0 had all the features needed to do 3D animation
movies in the hands of willing and patient user.
Check on the internet the smallest 3D softwares (like Bryce, Anim8tor,
Strata3D ...) look what people have created with theses limited tools.
My criticism of the RS users is that they are masturbating on the
wonderful features of RS instead of actually doing something : a
complete image or a complete short animation.

I can only explain why I have not been active on this list for 2 years now.
My 3D animation software is requiring all my programming attention.
I would like to see an unlimited version of Realsoft totally free with
watermarks or no full rez output and no export.
From now on, Realsoft will only be a modeling and special effect tools.
Mainly because of my own 3D software that is much more simple and
flexible than any other 3D softwares.

The pthings RS users must do right now is :
-Use the software for real.
-Download a free screen recorder and do some tutorials.
-Have fun (stop focusing on technical).
The thing that RS makers must do is :
-Change your website to actually show what can be done with RS
-Change your website to include things from this community.
-Put some simples videos to show the RS workflow (something to invite
new amateur)
