Also you cannot get simpler than WORDPRESS: http://wordpress.org/download/ Their are a load of Plugins for Wordpress including FORUMS: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ I have tried to get to grips with TYPO3. They describe it as "for enterprise purposes on the web and in intranets." - I found it NOT EASY.
