Just wanna say - the Extend tool is one of my favorite tools.
Seems weird perhaps, but it´s just so flexible and quick, I sometimes wonder 
when other programs doesn´t offer it.

I can also select an object/a point, use "extend", then drag the selectionbox 
over two points at once, and extend will onedimensionally scale the selected 
object/point/edge/face based on the point that lies exactly in the middle 
between the two selected points.
Really nifty.
