I used davfs2-1.3.3 with libneon.so.26.0.4 on 64-bit 2.6.27.7 kernel.

I have updated the new wiki page with my results. And I am aware of
the webdav concept page -- I think I would personally prefer solution
3 for the metadata problem (exposing nodes with metadata as folders).
But I'm programmer, not a web editor, and I realize 3 might not be
the best solution for all cases.
