you might want to create a secondary anonymous user and log the person
into that user based on a cookie (a filter checking the cookie and
augmenting the user might do the trick)

We are in the middle of setting up some content for users to download
in our Magnolia CMS (4.1) and I need to restrict access to these
downloads by having the user fill out a form beforehand. This part is
easy enough but I only want the user to have to fill out the form once
(it’s ok if they have to fill it out again if they clear their
cache/cookes/etc). Does magnolia have a mechanism to do this for me or
can anyone point me to a good getting started development guide for
Magnolia?
Thanks!
