Hi Grégory! Personally, I would be strongly in favour of sharing the module with all of you. There are 2 issues:
1. I'm just a contractor, I can't decide to give away the code as I don't own it 2. As mentioned in my post, version one is a bit of a hack - I'd be embarrassed ;-) So I will try to get version two out, if our project requirements allow, and then work on convincing my employers that it would be a good idea to share!
